Hiiii friends! Welcome to my site.. I hope you find what you are looking for!
My name is Maddie Whitten and I'm currently a senior at Oklahoma State. I began a jewelry line called the Love of Lemons in the summer of 2017 and since then I have constantly been dreaming, planning, creating and developing this passion of mine.
I was inspired to create Free To Be because it combined my love for designing jewelry and my passion for supporting women to live bolder and more authentic lives. I wanted to incorporate meaningful reminders into my jewelry line, encouraging women to go confidently wherever life takes you and doing so with passion, courage and heart. My customized jewelry line (found under the custom jewelry tab) offers a selection of several different metal tags and the option to customize a word or phrase that inspires you to embrace all that is you.
I believe that when encouraged and loved, women can build confidence to take charge and be a catalyst for change all around the world. This is exactly why I am passionate about empowering women to recognize the individual, unique qualities they possess that allow them to shine brightly and stand out.
I am so thankful for all of the incredible support from all of my friends, family and customers over the past 9+ months and can not wait to see where this journey takes us. You all have given me purpose, drive, and fierce ambition... for that, I am forever grateful.
All my love + then some,
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style." - Maya Angelou
Hi gals, my name is Natalie Draeger and I am currently in grad school at Oklahoma State University! I have a passion for all things social media, and because of that I was inspired to start my own marketing consulting. Maddie and I have known each other for a few years now and we decided to put our heads together and created the perfect boss babes partnership for Free to Be…. because girl power am I right? With her creativity + love for making jewelry and my enthusiasm for social media + powerful branding, we make the perfect pair!
When Maddie told me about her vision to create a movement that empowered women to embrace their confidence + authenticity, I literally got chills. I fully believe we are each put on this earth to make some type of difference, and Free to Be has given me the outlet to make a positive impact on other women. I hope that through this movement we are able to empower women all over the world, just like you, to feel inspired + fearless in the pursuit of being authentically YOU. So let’s make a difference while also making some cute jewelry too, who’s with me?
